Dogma

I left my friends and family behind in Georgia. My goal from the very beginning was to destroy the dogmas I carried within me. Art was at the center of it all—art within me and outside of me. Feelings, perceptions, scents, the body, and faith were at the core.

The words that have always accompanied me, still do, and always will: “I want, I must, I can.”

I know what I want, I know what I must, I know what I can.

Breaking free from old patterns—this was, is, and will never work without faith. Faith is a process within yourself, something you can shape, destroy, and rebuild. To take oneself like raw dough, to allow oneself to be shaped without resistance... and to see this as infinite—without pause, with full will.

Like a flower without a head standing in water, I wait once again for my dogmas to be broken, for renewal and rebirth through the process, because: I know what I want, what I must, what I can.
